Day trip to Dragør

Over the Easter break, my husband and I took a little day trip to Dragør. Dragør is a town just south of Copenhagen, right past the airport. It was only about a 20 minute drive for us! If I’m honest, it wasn’t even a full day trip — it was a couple hours one afternoon, because Dragør is so close it hardly took any time.

There are still Covid restrictions in place, so most shops were open but the museums were closed, and restaurants were still doing takeaway only. So we mostly just walked around the old town and the harbor, and then we got some hot chocolate and sweets to take home. Here’s a little photo dump from our quick visit!

All of the houses in the Old Town (Gamle By) are this bright yellow color! They were built in the 1700s and 1800s.
The museum was closed, unfortunately, so this will be something to do next time!
We found a cafe that sold Østerlandsk tea, which we love!! We bought some Cool Mint, and a few other treats to take home…
Hot chocolate, fancy Easter chocolates, and flødeboller (not pictured since they were in a bag!)
We enjoyed our hot chocolate in this little courtyard. So cuuuuuuute!

I’d love to go back again, especially when things are more open. If you’ve been to Dragør, what would you suggest doing next time?
