Five Favorite Things: March 2022

Hello hello! I’m starting a new monthly series where I’ll share 5 of my favorite things from the previous month. I’ll try to include a variety of things that I’ve been using a lot or really enjoying! Hopefully there’s something for you here, too!

ACCESSORY: Pernille Corydon earrings

I got these earrings this month and I love, love, love them!!! They are simple and kind of dainty, but still make a subtle statement with their unique design. I’ve been wearing them nonstop and feel like they complement any outfit.

BABY: Bugaboo footmuff

Pictured above

We got this footmuff (kørepose) in the fall, and one of the reasons I decided on this one is that it has a removable down insert. It served us well all winter, and now that it’s warming up a bit, I removed the insert so Noah doesn’t get too warm inside. He still seems super comfy in it. Honestly, I wish I could ride around in a stroller and one of these things.

BEAUTY: Benefit They’re Real! mascara

An oldie but a goodie. This used to be my go-to mascara, and then I switched over to a different one for a couple years. I recently started using They’re Real! again and I forgot how much I love it.

SHOES: Billi Bi Chelsea boots

From about October-March, I pretty much only wear sneakers and boots. I have several pairs of black boots, but I wanted something lighter for spring. I found these and think they are perfect for when it’s still “boot weather,” but I want my outfit to feel a bit lighter and brighter.

ENTERTAINMENT: The Alarmist podcast

I’ve been a fan of the Alarmist for a while, but I’ve especially appreciated it this past month. We’ve been having some loooong night wakes, and listening to a podcast helps pass the time and keep me awake when I’m rocking Noah back to sleep. The Alarmist has been one of my favorites for this. On the podcast, they analyze some of “history’s greatest tragedies”–which range from the breakup of the Beatles, to the Tenerife airport disaster, to the beheading of Marie Antoinette– and decide who is to blame. Most episodes also have a follow up, where they talk to an actual expert on the topic, for extra insight. The Alarmist is equal parts entertaining and educational. Highly recommend!!
